Today, on April 4, a major car accident took place in Kotayk region.
At around 3:00 p.m., the Kia Forte car left the traffic lane at the beginning of the "Chaini" curves of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, collided with the iron barriers and turned several times for about 100 meters, ending up upside down in the valley on the rocks.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, fortunately there were no casualties as a result of the accident. The driver and 2 passengers, one of whom is a minor, were miraculously saved and did not get out of the car because they were wearing seat belts and it was the seat belt that saved their lives.
According to the photojournalist, the driver underwent a sobriety test and was sober.
