Over the past week, more than 10 American military transport aircraft have landed at Israeli airbases located in southern Israel. The Times of Israel reports on the transfer of military equipment.
The majority of the recent cargo flights were operated by planes departing from Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso, Texas. According to the data, the aircraft were headed to the Nevatim and Ovda airbases of the Israeli Air Force in the southern part of the country.
In recent days, several other flights have also been conducted to deliver American military cargo to US bases located in other Middle Eastern countries, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
It is unknown what cargo the transport aircraft carried, but it is presumed to be related to US efforts to strengthen air defense in the region amid the potential new phase of military operations with Iran on the horizon.
