Israel will continue to hit Iran with the same intensity, regardless of how close Washington and Tehran are to peace talks, Reuters reported, citing Israeli government sources. According to the agency, Israel's leadership is now focused on inflicting maximum damage on Iran's military infrastructure.
To that end, even amid reports of possible US-Iran talks, Israel has no intention of reducing the scale of its strikes against the Islamic Republic.
Earlier, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that US-Iran talks may take place in Islamabad in the coming days. The minister also said that China, along with Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, supported Pakistan's peace initiative.
