Israel attacks Hezbollah's financial infrastructure in Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force attacked dozens of Hezbollah financial infrastructure facilities in Beirut and other areas of Lebanon on Monday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press service said. "Overnight, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of targeted, intelligence-based strikes against dozens of facilities used by terrorist organization Hezbollah to finance its terrorist activities against the State of Israel. The strikes were carried out in the areas of Beirut, southern Lebanon and deep into Lebanese territory,” the statement said.
According to the military, the targets of the strikes were the buildings of the al-Qard al-Hasan organization, which “directly finances Hezbollah’s terrorist activities, including the purchase of weapons and payments to militants from the military wing” of the movement.
“Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to reduce the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings sent through various platforms to civilians in the area,” the IDF noted.
Since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon and continues aerial bombing of the neighboring country, where more than a thousand people have already died, including leaders of the Shiite movement, and more than 90 thousand have become refugees. Despite losses, including in command personnel, Hezbollah is conducting ground battles and does not stop rocket attacks on Israeli territory.
The main goal of the military campaign in Israel is to create conditions for the return of 60 thousand residents of the north, who were evacuated due to shelling launched by Hezbollah a year ago in support of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
