The newspaper "Fact" writes: "The comprehensive repressive actions, the aggressive steps that Nikol Pashinyan's government is implementing, have several sub-layers. One of these sub-layers is that serious developments and events are expected in the near future. Unfortunately, bad or undesirable events. We want to hope that at least they are not shocking. But, in any case, the anxiety and alarm moods are not dispelled by this.
At the time, for example, in 2018, when many were saying that Robert Kocharyan was being detained so that Artsakh would be handed over unhindered, the Nikolists, the KPAs and their propagandists (there were incomparably more of them at that time) were making a fuss and shouting, "What are you saying..." It turned out that they were right. Pashinyan even overdid his “plan”: over the course of its millennial history, the indigenous Armenian Artsakh was completely depopulated. Now, many are still insisting and warning that we are on the threshold of great trials and tragedies, if not already partially involved in the process.
To sum up: in all the stages when Pashinyan and the government led by him took fateful and shocking steps, they were preceded by arrests, accusations, persecutions, and arrests of notable political and state figures, often accompanied by them. In the last two years, this wave of repression has also spread widely against the high-ranking clergy, led by the Catholicos of All Armenians.
And it is no coincidence that many public figures, politicians, political scientists, and in general, many Armenians have made observations regarding all this, namely that Pashinyan has certain obligations to Azerbaijan and also to Turkey. And on the way to fulfilling these obligations, he is trying to isolate national, opposition forces at all costs. In addition, Pashinyan is trying to present the repressions and the seizure of property as some kind of supposed “return of plunder”. This, of course, is to satisfy the passions of his shrinking and specific electorate, but it is also announced with the aim of somehow legitimizing the obvious illegal seizure of property, the “unbridled” being carried out. But. The issue of “millions and plunder” and its return is, of course, a different topic, a different sub-layer, which we will address separately in the near future. And until then, let us simply note: Pashinyan and his Communist Party have been in power for more than 8 years. According to which they have unlimited or absolute power, all law enforcement agencies, courts, prosecutor's office, investigative and everything else are under their control. In other words, if any "loot" had been discovered, they would have returned it within 8 years.
Let's repeat, summing up: the reality is that before the upcoming "deprivations" all those forces and figures who serve Armenian, national values and interests and can hinder the undertaken obligations, which are in no way in the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people, are simply isolated.
