On December 12, the 2nd consultations in the trilateral format of Armenia-India-Iran took place in New Delhi. based on the results of the previous tripartite consultations held in Yerevan in April, the parties discussed issues related to initiatives of communication channels, involvement in multilateral platforms and regional developments. Ways to promote trade, tourism and cultural exchanges, strengthening people-to-people contacts were also outlined.
During the consultations, the delegations emphasized the need to promote close cooperation within the framework of the "North-South" International Transport Corridor (INSTC), highlighting the role of the Chabahar port in this context. The Armenian side presented its "Crossroads of Peace" project to the participants.
The three parties reaffirmed their commitment to continue cooperation within the given format. It was agreed that the next round of tripartite consultations will be held in Iran on the dates agreed between the parties.
