Armenia-France defense cooperation agreement 2025 was signed. the program

On December 10, Armenia-France strategic defense consultations were held at the RA Ministry of Defense under the leadership of Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation of the RA Ministry of Defense, and Alexander Escorsia, Head of the Department of Europe, North America and Multilateral Cooperation of the General Department of International Cooperation and Strategy of the French Ministry of Armed Forces. :

During the consultations, the works carried out in the framework of cooperation in 2024 were summarized and the plans for the next year were outlined. training of various military units, military-technical and other directions.

The delegation headed by Alexander Escorsia was received by the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan. The priorities of the RA Armed Forces transformation process and the course of cooperation with France were discussed. Lieutenant General Edward Asryan expressed his satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and hope that it will continue to develop.

During the consultations, the parties also exchanged opinions on issues related to regional and international security. As a result of the consultations, the 2025 program of defense cooperation between Armenia and France was signed, which includes several dozen measures in almost all spheres of the armed forces.
