During the demonstrations in Tbilisi, 28 people were detained on criminal charges


The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports that a total of 28 people have been arrested in criminal cases related to gang violence during demonstrations in Tbilisi.

"At the moment, 28 people have been detained on the grounds of organizing, leading or participating in group violence during protests, public calls for violent actions, as well as preparing an explosion, attacking police officers, and causing damage to property," the statement said.

The department informs that during the night action, 2 people were detained for criminal cases, and 48 people were arrested for administrative offenses at night, which implies petty hooliganism and disobedience to the police.
