China responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's accusations of disrupting the peace conference in Switzerland. China's Foreign Ministry representative Mao Ning stated that Beijing's position on the Peace Conference is very open and transparent. According to him, China has never "added fuel to the fire" regarding the conflict. The speaker noted that China highly values all international efforts aimed at establishing peace in Ukraine and attaches great importance to relations with Ukraine, being the largest trade partner of Kiev. Earlier, Zelensky , speaking at the "Shangri-Lai Dialogue" security conference held in Singapore, noted: "Unfortunately, such a large independent country as China is a tool in Putin's hands. And that's why I mentioned that representatives of Russia and several other countries are working to destroy the Peace Summit."
