In the city of Krakow, Poland, a man suspected of carrying out a mass shooting reportedly killed his parents and sister before the attack. Their bodies were found in the suspect's apartment. Law enforcement identified him as 24-year-old Michal O., who had no prior criminal record and possessed a permit to own firearms. The car used during the shooting was registered under his father's name, who owned 11 firearms.
According to the Polish Minister of the Interior, the attacker acted alone and was interested in far-right ideologies. Police have denied reports of a second attacker. The suspect was injured by police gunfire during arrest and was taken to the hospital.
Recall that on November 7, a shooting in downtown Krakow resulted in six deaths and 15 injuries. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is following the investigation, while the motives for the attack remain unclear.
