President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the United States has a clear proposal to mutually stop attacks on critical infrastructure.
"The United States has a clear proposal to mutually stop attacks on critical infrastructure. And if this can be the first step in de-escalation, a step towards stopping Russian strikes on our critical infrastructure and our retaliatory strikes, then Ukraine is ready to support de-escalation.
We see that the Russians are feeling pressure on the Russian military economy because of our precision strikes. And to this day, no one has seen Russia's real desire to end the war. But if our American partners can ensure Russia's real willingness to stop this destructive war and to do so on a fair and long-term basis, Ukraine will take its own steps towards de-escalation," he said.
