The employees of the Aragatsotn Regional Department of the Criminal Police received operational information that a 27-year-old young man, a resident of Echmiadzin, was planting drugs for sale in various places in the city of Ashtarak. We are informed about this from the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police.
Further measures bore fruit on August 18. At around 7:30 p.m. on the road to Nor Erznka, the young man was arrested while planting drugs and was taken to the department along with the car he was driving. The car was sealed in a specially guarded area.
As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, an inspection at the place of arrest revealed 9 packages already planted, with a total weight of about 30 grams.
A search of the car driven by the young man, conducted by the court, revealed 113 packages of variously colored adhesive tapes, weighing about 200 grams in total, as well as a dropper with traces of ash, one and a half million drams, and a gun, which, according to the young man, is a gas gun.
The 27-year-old young man from Echmiadzin has been detained. The circumstances are being clarified.
