A delegation of the Palestinian Hamas movement is leaving for Egypt to conclude negotiations with the Israeli side on the second phase of the Gaza peace plan, the main point of contention so far has been the disarmament of the radical movement's paramilitary units.

According to the TV channel, "Hamas' negotiating delegation arrives in the capital of Egypt to complete consultations on the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement proposed by the Peace Council. Representatives of the movement will meet in Cairo with mediators from Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, as well as Palestinian factions, "to strengthen the ceasefire and ensure the fulfillment of all commitments mentioned in the plan."
The TV channel notes that Hamas representatives "have a positive attitude to the demands of the "road map" presented by the Peace Council and the mediators, in case of Israel's agreement." Yesterday evening, Hamas announced its readiness to implement the two previously discussed points of the peace plan presented by the Peace Council. According to Al Arabiya, these are points 5 and 8 of the Gaza peace plan.
