Eighteen months after leaving the White House, the 83-year-old former president is connecting with a small circle of family members, old friends and longtime aides as he undergoes treatment for metastatic cancer. The treatment seems to be effective, but the disease and its consequences have weakened him significantly," the message states.
According to the newspaper, Biden's entourage describes his post-presidency life as disrupted by illness, with his days increasingly focused on treatment, family and efforts to build a legacy.
