The number of American soldiers injured during the operation against Iran has reached 624, the "New York Times" reports, referring to Pentagon data. On Sunday, the Pentagon began publishing information about casualties during military operations in the Middle East.
On Thursday, the NYT reported that the number of American soldiers killed in the standoff with Iran had suddenly dropped on the Pentagon's website. The publication claimed that officials gave conflicting information about the incident. Agency spokesman Sean Parnell called the newspaper's publication a lie.
