Russia sees duality in Trump's stance on Ukraine. Peskov

Russia sees duplicity in Donald Trump's stance on Ukraine, while Moscow is impressed by Washington's willingness to seek a peaceful settlement. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

"We see such duality in the American position. On the one hand, they are supplying weapons to Ukraine, although President Trump says, we don't know who we are supplying, we are supplying to NATO, and everything else is none of our business. On the other hand, the United States sincerely declares its readiness to contribute to the peaceful settlement.

Russia, for its part, maintains the channels of dialogue with the American negotiators. However, Moscow's reaction to possible new proposals for conflict resolution in Ukraine will depend on how well they correspond to Russia's interests," said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president.
