IRGC confirmed that the US used B-1 strategic bombers for strikes against Iran

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that the US has used B-1 Lancer strategic bombers in recent strikes against Iran.

According to the statement of the IRGC, the American planes took off from the British Fairford Air Base, which is why Tehran considers that base to be a legitimate military target.

"The American aggressor army, having exhausted the reserves of cruise missiles launched from ships located in the Indian Ocean, switched to the use of B-1 planes that took off from the British Fairford airbase," the announcement states.

The IRGC also emphasized that any military base used for attacks against Iran is considered a legitimate target for Tehran.

Earlier, Axios, referring to American officials, reported that the US used a B-1 strategic bomber for the first time after the resumption of military operations against Iran to strike the facilities of the IRGC.
