US Vice President J.D. Vance announced that during his visit to Hungary, he intends to discuss the Ukrainian peace process with Prime Minister Viktor Orban, among other issues.
"I am looking forward to meeting my friend Victor. We will discuss a number of issues related to US-Hungary relations. Of course, I am sure that considerable attention will be paid to Europe, Ukraine and other topics," Vance said during a press conference before leaving for Budapest.
His words were quoted by White House press service reporters. According to the statement published by the press service of the White House on April 2, Vance's visit to Hungary will take place on April 7-8.
The US Vice President's visit aims to show the support of the current US administration to the Hungarian Prime Minister.
US President Donald Trump previously expressed his support for him.
