The United States does not object to regular supplies of oil to Cuba from other countries, including Russia, based on humanitarian considerations, US President Donald Trump has stated.
"We have tanks there. We don't mind somebody bringing oil in tankers because Cubans have to survive," he told reporters on his plane flying from West Palm Beach, Florida to Washington, commenting on reports of a Russian ship delivering fuel to Cuba.
"If any country wants to deliver oil to Cuba right now, I have no problem with that. It doesn't matter if it's Russia or not," the US president emphasized.
