Tasnim news agency reported that several local residents were killed by mines in the form of tin cans dropped from Israeli and American planes near the city of Shiraz in the south of Iran.
According to the agency, "enemy planes dropped explosives in some areas near Shiraz, which were hidden in tin cans resembling ordinary fish cans."
The agency notes that local security officials are collecting landmine traps and asking citizens to stay away from these suspicious objects and, if found, report their exact location to the police.
