"Fact" daily writes:
However, at some point Nikol Pashinyan should probably... say thank you. Don't be surprised for his declared war or attacks against the Armenian Apostolic Church. Of course, the context of the supposed and unbelievable "thank you" is not at all what Nikol Pashinyan would like. Moreover, the process of "renovation" he announced is not what he would like, but in that context, the circumstance of "thanks" that we mentioned comes to the fore. The point is that Pashinyan's attack against the Armenian Apostolic Church or, as he says, "reformation" gave rise to many revelations. And what discoveries!
Meanwhile, what is the opposite side of Pashinyan's anti-church "reforms"? See: if it weren't for Pashinyan, we might not have seen the true image and face of several unworthy bishops, the masks would not have been torn.
And thanks to Pashinyan's "activities"... hidden tyraids were revealed. Several high-ranking clerics were revealed who denied their oath and covenant and went against His Holiness and the Mother Church. Is it bad that they were exposed? We saw among those same tyrants "spiritual" who put power and money above God. Moreover, we saw that they are barely 10 or 20, well, let it be 25... in the ranks of more than 600. We saw that the Armenian Apostolic Church is really strong. We made sure that the vast majority of our people are really with their Church.
Moreover, if it were not for Pashinyan's persecutions and the trials caused by them, many of us might not be familiar with the real and exemplary description of our many spiritual fathers. These persecutions revealed vivid images of real spiritual leaders, individuals, spiritual figures who did not succumb to any pressure, no insidious threats and insults, no detention and distress, but as real Christian leaders, they faced and are facing all of this with honor and unbreakable will.
Moreover, hundreds of thousands of our believers, among them even our compatriots living in a less religious manner, began to attend liturgies, moreover, they began to listen carefully to what was said during those liturgies. In other words, the persecutions undertaken by the government became a unique incentive to increase the level of spiritual literacy of a certain stratum of the people. And this is not all. We see that the youth are showing great interest in the National Church.
