"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"The project of the statement initiated by the Armenia faction on the restoration of political prisoners and their violated rights in Armenia was rejected by the ruling majority yesterday. It received 52 votes against and 21 votes.
It is noteworthy, however, that CP deputy Hayk Sargsyan, the bottle-grabber, first abstained and then informed the secretariat that he was against it. Yesterday, Sargsyan's vote in the KP became a reason for heated discussions. According to many, Sargsyan is trying to blackmail the Communist Party by saying that he will become an oppositionist, will join an opposition camp and will use his connections against the government during the elections.
Let's remind that the KP department rejected Sargsyan and did not register a candidate for deputy, and a few days later, Pashinyan hinted in a direct text that the rejection was based on corruption stories, that their publication was not in Mr. Sargsyan's interests, which the deputy denied a few days later.
