Iran is ready to reduce the level of enrichment of enriched uranium by 60 percent if sanctions are lifted

The Iranian authorities are ready to reduce the level of enrichment of the country's 60 percent enriched uranium reserves if Washington completely removes all sanctions imposed on Tehran. The vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization (IAEA) Mohammad Eslami announced this.

"This question depends on whether they will lift all the sanctions in response," Tasnim agency quotes Eslami's answer to the journalist's corresponding question.

The vice president also clarified that during the negotiations held in Oman, Tehran and Washington did not discuss the possible export of highly enriched uranium from Iran to third countries.
"Such an issue was not discussed during the negotiations," he noted.
