Armenia may be deprived of the right to vote in CSTO working bodies due to non-payment of contributions. Zakharova

Due to debts, Armenia may be deprived of the right to vote in the CSTO, said Maria Zakharova, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

According to him, according to the charter of the organization, measures can be taken against the state if it does not fulfill its obligations, in particular, if it has a two-year debt.

The measures also include the suspension of the right of the citizens of the given state to be nominated for quota positions, as well as the deprivation of the right to vote in labor bodies until the debts are fully repaid, Zakharova said.
