Israel has announced that the Turkish army will not participate in stabilization efforts in Gaza

Israel is against the participation of Turkish troops in the international stabilization forces being created in the Gaza Strip, Israeli government spokesman Shosh Bedrosyan stated during the briefing.

"There will be no Turkish troops in the Palestinian enclave as part of the international stabilization forces, neither now, nor in the past, nor in the future," he said.

On September 29, the White House published US President Donald Trump's "comprehensive plan" aimed at resolving the Gaza conflict.

The document consists of 20 points and, among other things, provides for the establishment of a temporary external administration in the enclave and the deployment of international stabilization forces there. On October 9, the parties to the conflict signed an agreement to implement the first phase of the American leader's peace plan. On October 10, the cease-fire agreement in Gaza entered into force.
