A 65-year-old woman is accused of large-scale fraud in the city of Pushkino of the Near-Moscow region of Russia. The thing is that for 5 years, he has been presenting himself as an importer of special slimming bio-supplements in Russia and using the online marketing option, he finds customers who want to lose 5-20 kg of weight in a short period of time. The woman sent photos of how she changed from 96 kg to a beautiful lady weighing about 70 kg in 2 months.
Law enforcement officers, however, revealed that he achieved that result not by using the bio-supplements he offered, but by surgery.
The woman had a blog, had a large number of followers, and very casually, the doctor who operated on her saw another advertisement on her channel on social networks, how she "struggles" with extra pounds.
He reported the woman's possible deception to the Prosecutor's Office, which began to conduct inspections and discovered a whole scheme of intentionally disinforming people and selling them useless pills.
If we take into account that he sold each container of such bio pills for 1500 rubles, and since the day of the activity, he has sold about 5000 containers, we can imagine what kind of money we are talking about.
Law enforcers note that the boxes contained a placebo - mood-enhancing, energizing vitamins that do not affect a person's weight at all.
