Belgium is currently unable to counteract the thorny flying devices and must accelerate the implementation of the reaction measures, said the Minister of Defense of the country Sto Franken.
"We need to accelerate significantly, because we will not be ready to fight against this phenomenon yet," the minister said, according to Le SOIR newspaper.
He stressed that this issue "does not cause any delays", as the illegal entry of unmanned aerial vehicles "is repeated all over Europe."
"LE SOIR" reports that the Belgian Defense Ministry has already prepared a program to protect the country's military infrastructure from drones next year, but now it must be done earlier.
