The "Action and Solidarity Party" founded by Moldovan President Maya Sandu received 50.20% of the votes and managed to maintain its majority after the distribution of mandates in the parliament. The opposition parties received 43.95% in the parliament. These preliminary results were published by the Central Electoral Commission after calculating all the votes.
The main opposition force around the Socialist Party, "patriotic alliance" received 24.17% of the votes, received 7.96% of the "Alternative" bloc, "Our Party" - 6.20%, and a pro-European democracy party - 5.62%.
The ruling party could have achieved this advantage through the redistribution of the votes of candidates who did not attract places in the parliament. However, the final results will publish the Central Electoral Commission.
