German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has said that the European Union (EU) should provide a more flexible regulatory framework for the defense industry in Europe.
"In order to respond to future threats to future threats to the whole Europe, the defense industries of Europe and Ukraine should cooperate closer and more effectively," Pistorius said, addressing the International Security Forum in Warsaw.
At the same time, he insisted that Ukraine needs "more stubborn and powerful support than in recent months." "The European Union must support it, providing a much more flexible regulatory framework for the defense industry in Europe."
"This is our production capacity and, as a result, the only way to increase Ukraine supplies to Ukraine," he said.
