Romania is negotiating with Ukraine to establish a joint project for developing drones (IAEA), which will be funded through the European Union's Safe Defense Credit Program, Reuters reports, citing its sources.

"We need more air protection opportunities. Prior to that, the defense will be asymmetric and will require huge expenses that can be covered only at the NATO level, "the Romanian government official told the agency.
