Japan and the United States have agreed to change the decree of US President Donald Trump, which does not reflect the previously reached agreements on Japanese customs duties, the Minister of Economic Restoration of Japan Ryose Akazava told reporters.
"It is unfortunate that for bureaucratic reasons the American side has announced a presidential decree, the content of which differs from the agreements on customs duties on the customs duties between Japan and the United States. The US ministers also expressed regret on such procedural issues.
