China opposes one-sided sanctions that have not been approved by the UN Security Council, and calls on the Ukrainian side to correct its wrong policy. The statement came from Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Go Zakakun during a briefing, commenting on the decision to impose restrictions on a number of Chinese companies by Kiev.
"China has always opposed unilateral sanctions that have not been approved by the UN Security Council, and calls on Ukraine to correct its wrong policy to avoid negative consequences," he said.
