The Venezuelan government will close all border checkpoints during the municipal elections, the country's executive vice president Delis Rodriguez said.

"On July 26, at 6:00 (from 12:00) until 6:00, all border checkpoints will be closed on July 27 to organize municipal elections throughout the country," Rodriguez said in his statement Telegram.
