A military helicopter fragments were found in Kazakhstan

In one of the lakes of Almaty region, rescuers found fragments of helicopters, which are supposed to own Kazakhstan's air defense, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Saturday.

On Friday, it was reported that a military helicopter disappeared from radar during a planned flight in Almaty region.

Search and rescue operations have begun, involving the forces and resources of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"During the cosmic monitoring held in the Operative Headquarters of the Command of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a stain was registered in the waters of Sorbulak Lake Sorbulak, which is supposed to be an oil nature.

The Rescuers Group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately left for the mentioned area. The search continued at night. As a result of the inspection, the plane fragments were found, which are supposed to belong to the Air Defense Forces of Kazakhstan, "the statement said.

The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are reportedly working on the spot. Special equipment is taking part in the operation, including voice search engines, drones and underwater drones.
