The Pentagon has sent 1,700 soldiers to fight migrants

The US Department of Defense has laid 1,700 soldiers under the control of the governors to cooperate with the Immigration and Customs Service (ICE) in the fight against illegal immigrants.

"Today, the Ministry of Defense announced a change in the status of the immigration and customs service (ICE) servicemen within the framework of their immigration control mission.

Staff status will change from 10 to 32. The change will affect 1200-designed employees, as well as 500 additional employees, "the press release posted on the Pentagon website said.

According to the US National Guard's website, the 10th status for American servicemen means that they are subjected to the Federal Government and the US President, while the 32nd status means that the military is subject to the governor.

The publication notes that this decision will allow the military to "communicatively communicating with ICE people in detention."
