The city of Nagasaki in Japan intends to invite all countries and regions of diplomatic missions in Japan, including Russia, the US Air Force Memorial Ceremony, RIA Novosti, told RIA Novosti.
A month ago, the Hiroshima authorities of Japan reaffirmed RIA Novosti that all countries will be sent to Russia and Belarus this year.
This year it was decided to change the format and send notifications instead of invitations to the ceremony and its goals. Thus, all countries, including those who are not invited last year or earlier, will receive notifications and be able to determine themselves, participate in non-participation.
"We plan to send invitations to all countries and regions, which have foreign diplomatic missions in Japan," explained the Nagasaki administration, in response to the RIA Novosti's request to follow Hiroshima's example.
