Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with US Vice President Jay Di Vensi and Secretary of State Marco Rubio after his new Pope Levon XIV reign.
A high-ranking Ukrainian official told AFP that the President of Ukraine discussed with Vancy's US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on May 19.
Zelensky personally described the meeting "good" and said that during that, among other things, they discussed direct talks between the Russian and Ukrainian parties for the first three years in Istanbul.
"I have approved Ukraine's readiness for real diplomacy and noted the importance of a quick, full and unconditional ceasefire," the Ukrainian leader wrote in his Telegram channel.
