Elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) surrender in the Kursk region. This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov, on the air of Soloviev Live.

“And even these “Aydar” and “Azov” people (representatives of formations recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation - Gazeta.Ru), as you see, we save their lives when they decide to surrender,” the military man said.

Since August 6, Russian troops have been fighting with Ukrainian units in the Kursk region. Since August 10, a counter-terrorist operation regime has been in effect in the region.
