Since midnight on September 5, no strikes have been launched in the direction of Kiev. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with American envoys in the Kremlin, TASS reports.
"Since midnight today, no strikes have been launched in the direction of Kiev," the Russian leader noted.
Earlier, Putin began negotiations with Witkoff and Kushner.
Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow on September 5. It is expected that after the negotiations with Putin, the American representatives will leave for Kiev to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
US President Donald Trump had earlier stated that the purpose of the visits of the American envoys is to contribute to the cessation of the conflict in Ukraine.
