On April 1, N.S.O.T.T. Garegin Secretary Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Hungarian-Evangelical Church Returning Vilmos Fishli, Greeting Guests, His Holiness's visit to Armenia and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin as support for the Armenian people in these difficult times.
The Catholicos of All Armenians expressed his appreciation for the programs aimed at the support of Artsakh Armenians initiated by Hungary. In his speech, His Holiness, referring to the issue of the release of Armenians who took responsible for the release of the Government of Hungary and the Mother See of Holiness, was possible to ensure the return of five Armenian prisoners of war to his homeland.
The meeting also touched upon the Armenian-Hungarian cooperation, the inter-church relations of the Armenian Church, as well as the national-spiritual life of the Armenian community of Hungary.
