RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan summed up the working visit to Syunik region. He informed about this on his Facebook page.
"I was on a three-day working visit to the process of following the work of the state budget and the work of the Governor Robert Ghukasyan, the municipal and responsible officials. The first stop was the renovation of the road leading to the historic Old Goris.

The works are still underway. It is planned to renovate the road, construction of sidewalks, construction of walls and artificial structures, repair and road furniture.

During the visit to Syunik region, I followed the North-South Road Corridor, Tranche 4 - Kajaran-Farm 32 km long road and tunnel.
At the moment, active construction is carried out.
The works include about 240 employees and 142 units of equipment. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to reconstruct the road section of Kajaran-Farm at the 32-kilometime (80 km / hour rate of 80 km), 6 new overpasses, 2 new tunnels and 17 new bridges.
