The Human Rights Defender is in constant communication with the competent authority, raising the issues related to the legislative regulations related to the emergence of tax liabilities in the event of free legal assistance provided by advocates as a result of the amendments made to the Tax Code, and the need to make efforts to resolve them.
At the same time, Defender Anahit Manasyan welcomes the steps taken by the competent authority to resolve the situation.
In this context, the Defender also emphasizes the importance of the participation of interested parties in the decision-making process. The issue of guaranteeing free legal assistance is under the attention of the Human Rights Defender.
