Former Director of Public Radio Garegin Khumaryan addressed the case of the Artsakh flag removed from the entrance of Public Radio a few days ago:
“The flag was raised at the end of 2012 or the very beginning of 2013, after the war, in honor of the company’s employees who went to the front, the relatives of the employees, and in honor of those who did not return from the front.
Beyond the political content, it is a flag under which those people fought, wore it as a chevron on their shoulders, decorated their armor, and the dead were buried covered with that flag.
That flag has specific addressees, both among the living and the dead.
It is not worth touching it.
Such things are not forgotten.”
