I do not comment on the statements of politicians. The people of Artsakh have nothing to be ashamed of, Colonel General Movses Hakobyan said in an interview with “Pastinfo”, referring to the statement of the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan. Simonyan publicly accused the people of Artsakh of leaving Artsakh and allegedly not fighting.To the observation that the Republic of Armenia is the guarantor of Artsakh’s security by the Constitution, but the authorities of the Republic of Armenia have not actually fulfilled their duty as guarantor of Artsakh’s security, and instead are blaming the people of Artsakh today, Hakobyan responded that in 2018 the Republic of Armenia relieved itself of responsibility for Artsakh’s security.
So, was everything predetermined from 2018? Hakobyan replied: “It’s too bad if you didn’t understand.”
Referring to the sham trials of Artsakh military and political figures taking place in Baku, Hakobyan noted: "It is a disgrace to the nation. A disgrace to the Armenian people."
