The road leading to Upper Lars is 2 directions closed for trucks. Vahan Hakobyan, a customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in Russia told Sputnik Armenia.

"Due to the snowfall on the Gudauri-Kobe section of the International Mtskheta-Stepantsh-Lars highway, the cross mountain pass has been closed for trucks in both directions," he said.

Hakobyan noted that the road remains open for light motor transport.
