ChatGPT was used to blow up a Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas

The man suspected of blowing up a Tesla Cybertruck near the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas used ChatGPT artificial intelligence to prepare for the crime. Local police sheriff Kevin McMahill announced this at a press conference, NBC News reports.

According to the investigation, the person involved in the case tried to calculate the required amount of explosive material and find out where it is sold through ChatGPT. "This is the first known case of using artificial intelligence to prepare a crime," McMahill said.

On January 1, as we reported, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded near the entrance to the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, as a result of which, according to local officials, one person was killed and several others were injured. The suspect is 37-year-old Matthew Leavelsberger, a former US special forces sergeant who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

According to media reports, he did not have a personal grudge against the owner of the hotel, Donald Trump.
