The White House announced that US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed that Iran should never have nuclear weapons.
"Both sides agreed that Iran should never have nuclear weapons," the statement said. The White House also noted that both sides agree that "the Strait of Hormuz must remain open to ensure free energy flows."
According to a White House statement cited by CNN, Trump had a good meeting with Xi Jinping in Beijing, and both sides agreed to strengthen economic cooperation.
