As of today, only border guard officers of the Republic of Armenia are carrying out border control at the Agarak border crossing point of the Armenia-Iran state border, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed about this on his Facebook page.
"Until now, since the independence of Armenia, border control was carried out at the Agarak crossing point by the officers of the Border Guard Forces of the Russian Federation, and I want to thank them for the service rendered.
And I wish success and good service to our border guards, who have taken over border guard control from today," the Prime Minister wrote.
