Artak Manukyan announced his resignation as a member of the board of the Yerevan Chess Federation.
"Dear compatriots and representatives of the chess community, I would like to inform you about my resignation from the position of a member of the Yerevan Chess Federation. I made this decision after much thought and I am sure that at this moment it is right for me and the organization.
At the same time, I would like to emphasize that my resignation in no way reduces my willingness to continue supporting the further development of Armenian chess. I will always be available with my experience, knowledge and initiatives to be useful to the field.
During this period, we managed to implement a number of important projects, each of which was of great importance for the popularization of chess and the achievements of Armenian chess players.
I wish the federation continued success, new achievements and steady progress for the benefit of Armenian chess," he wrote.
