Grigor Harutyunyan, member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, former member of the "Public Voice" party, announced that he is resigning his mandate. He informed that this decision became final today.
"It has been a long time since I decided to give up my council mandate, which was won in 2023. During the municipal elections of the city of Yerevan.
Today, that moment arrived, and my decision became final.
I should mention that I got my mandate from the list of the "Public Voice" party, at that time, at the invitation of the party's honorary chairman Vardan Ghukasyan. In the last 5-6 months, I have been working exclusively independently, there have been no political or personal pressures on my activities and quorums.
I would like to express my thanks to Vardan Ghukasyan, for his trust and inviting the pre-election list, and to all the people with whom I have worked and cooperated this year.
Whether I will continue my political activity or not, it will be announced in the future, and with this I want to wish everyone all the best and let everyone serve and do for their country, for their citizens and for the sake of a strong homeland of the future," he wrote.
